DOLLAR STORE FINDS
Yesterday, I was completely frustrated with my laziness of binge watching Graceland on Netflix. So I decided to complete one of my tasks this week of browsing the toy isle at the local dollar store. And I left with a handful of treasures for under 8 bucks!
I forgot how much I love doing puzzles! My older sister used to be a pro and would master giant puzzles and then glue them together and hang them on her bedroom walls. She always started with the border first, of course. Then I remember she would turn over every single puzzle piece and divide them up by colors and textures into different tops of empty puzzle boxes. She dominated the art of putting a puzzle together and I'd like to think she rubbed off on me a little bit.
I think I mastered this 100 piece puzzle in less than thirty minutes so I'm looking forward to more of a challenge with the 650 piece marine adventure next.
Lisa Fraaaaaaank! Whoa! Taking me way back to those childhood days of building my inner artist. All you need is a little water and a brush and BOOM! Set up and clean up in under a minute, no mess, and your own painted Panda is quite the genius move by Lisa Frank.
I remember sitting under my Maw Maw's carport and going to town on these bad boys back in the day while she was swinging away listening to the radio or playing in her flower beds. She always had something for each of us to dig into. I'm sure my little bro was off digging in the dirt somewhere. I sure do miss that incredible lady and those afternoons.
