There is a beautifully inspiring student who I've had the pleasure of teaching for the last three years. As she moves on to high school, she will be greatly missed. But I am happy that she decided to leave little pieces of her magic behind with me. Her artwork decorates the bulletin board by my desk. I'd like to say I'll be the owner of a few originals when this fearless beauty makes a name for herself in the creative world.
As a middle school student, she has managed to stay true to herself and is fearless in her talents. She takes on every challenge given to her and excels her own expectations. Her discipline and dedication to detail amazes me. She has been such an inspiration to myself and to many in the classroom.
One of the things I love most about this young lady is how big her heart is. She made a handful of her projects for her friends and family. She even gave a few of her originals to me. Wow. When I did something I thought was worth keeping, I never wanted to let it go. She had no fear in letting it go. She says she has sketchbooks full of drawings and I would love to look through those as I imagine they are all worth keeping. She is fearless in her gifts and I admire that. Zoe, thank you. You have placed joy and inspiration in my heart and I look forward to seeing where your talents take you.
